Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas at the Porter house this year. The kids are at such fun ages. I loved watching each of them enjoy Christmas morning.

Jed loved his presents this year. He was really excited for Christmas morning. He is still way into Star Wars and as you can see, he's turned into a clone trooper. He takes his costume off to sleep and sometimes to play the Wii, but mostly he just runs around with his buddies playing Star Wars.
Katie had a great suprise from Santa this year. She got an American Girl doll. She was so excited when she saw her. She immediately said, "Mom, I think Annie is a good name. What do you think?" I of course loved it. So Annie became the newest member of the family. She shows up at every meal and is always buckled in a seat belt in the car. She also hasn't missed a night sleeping in Kate's bed. They have become best friends!
Blake was so cute this year. He said the funniest things. The first present he opened was a toy vacuum. He opened the gift and saw what was inside and said... "Holy Moly!" It was so cute! We all laughed about it. He loved his Elmo Chair and his "bike" as well.

We had a wonderful time visiting family and spending the holiday with those we love most! Merry Christmas everyone!

So I've pretty much been neglecting my blog!!! I have recently started Facebook. Wow! I can't believe how much fun I've been having! It's crazy how many people I've caught up with. I am seriously spending WAY too much time on the computer! Steve even asked me if I've been looking at porn! Ha Ha! Now I just have to convince him to get started on FB. The only problem is that we only have 1 computer and I don't want to have to compete to use it!

Well, the big news of the week is... NO MORE BINKI!!!!! YEAH! The weirdest thing happened. The Binki Man came to our house and took all the binki's. Then he gave them away to all the little baby's who needed them. Blake had no idea that this man existed and I'm pretty sure that he would like to punch him out, but he's learning how to go to sleep without his binki! He's been pretty edgy and not napping well, but all in all he's doing great! We're on day 3 and I haven't caved yet! Now I just wish the Potty Training Man would come and take care of that issue!

Jed's 7th Birthday!

Today was Jed's 7th birthday. I can't believe he's that old!!! It seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms!! He had a great day. He went to school and came home with a poster signed by the whole class! It is so cute. When he got home he got his presents. We got him a new bike, but his favorite present was the $7 lightsaber. Go figure!!

He chose to go to Golden Coral for dinner (barf). He was hoping the clown would be there. Sure enough he got his wish and all of the kids got balloon hats! I'm just glad the clown was there so that we don't have to go back!

After dinner my family came over to celebrate. Yesterday I asked Jed what kind of cake he wanted. He said, "just make me a Yoda cake." Like I could just whip that one right out. So after 24 hours of stressing about it I made a Yoda cake. It was the most hilarious thing ever!! Every time I looked at it I started laughing so hard I got tears. It was seriously NOT my best cake!!!

Jed had fun with his cousins at his party. Everybody gave him really nice things. Thanks Everyone!!! Jed stayed up way too late playing with his new stuff. He didn't want his birthday to end. Fortunately he is having some friends over for a birthday party tomorrow!! I've always thought birthday's are too big for one day!! He even gets to celebrate again on Sunday with the Porter's. What a great week!!!

Jed's new Star Wars pajamas and his lightsaber.

This Yoda cake ROCKS!!

Disneyland Rocks!!!

I just looked at our pictures from Disneyland a month ago, and remember how much fun we had!!! It was so great to finally get to experience the MAGIC!!! We had such a great time! THANKS PAPA!

Jed was all about the rides. He was so excited to go on every single one (even when we'd already been on Buzz Lightyear 1000 times!) He did however refuse to go on California Screamin' (the big roller coaster that goes upside down). This was my FAVORITE ride!! I tried and tried to coax him to go with me, but his fear got the best of him. Maybe next time Jed! Jed loved Space Mountain and Star Tours. He is all about Star Wars lately. He chose a special lightsaber that he built himself as his souvenir. I think he liked his second trip as much as his first!!

Kate loved the rides, but was really there to meet the princesses. She was bound and determined to meet Cinderella. On the first day, we saw Cinderella in the parade and Kate was sure that she waved just to HER. The next day in California Adventure we stoped to watch a little play, at the end Cinderella came out on stage!!! Kate was so excited. When it was over she got to meet her and even gave her a big hug. This was a dream come true for our little princess!!! Through the course of the week she met several princesses and really loved that part of Disneyland. Her favorite two rides were Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Fortunately for me she convinced Pat to take her on Splash Mountain several times. (Thanks Pat! I was wet from the waist down - one time was enough for me!)

And Blake...

Blake absolutely loved Disneyland. He did so well. He was the perfect age to really love the characters. He couldn't get enough of them! Some of his favorites were Pluto - he played fetch with him, Goofy - Goofy played the drums on his head, Buzz Lightyear - Buzz talked on Blake's new Buzz phone, and his most favorite Mickey Mouse! He was so cute when we met Mickey. As we were leaving Mickey's house he kept running back to hug Mickey, then he would say "bye Mickey Mouse" over and over. It was seriously the cutest thing ever!!! Blake also loved the rides, especially the tea cups!! Each time we walked by them he would say "tea cups, Daddy go super fast!" He had a great time and never gave us any trouble. He was soooooo good I couldn't believe it. I know that he had the time of his life!!

We all had the time of our lives!! Disneyland is truly a magical place. Our kids were sooooo good. They didn't fight or complain or stop smiling for 6 days! Walt Disney must be a magician! Thanks Papa for giving us the vacation of a lifetime - where we could spend time with each other in the most magical place on earth!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Roy High Game

We just got home from the Roy High game. They played Bonneville and as I'm sure you can guess Bonneville killed them! (BHS RULES!) Kate danced with the Royalairs at half-time. She was so cute. She and Henley did awesome!! It was fun. While I was there I ran into Heidi Dare and she told me she found my blog. So I guess if people are going to be looking at this I better write in it. So far Staci has pretty much done it all - so if it starts to really suck you'll know that I'm on my own!! I think I could put a picture in, but my camera battery died at the game. So I'll charge it tonight and see if I can add one tomorrow!!
